Spice Specialist

Savory Spice is a full-service culinary spice store located in the heart of Nashville. We offer a wide selection of handcrafted spices, herbs, and seasonings, as well as expert advice and guidance to help our customers find the perfect ingredients for their culinary creations.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where no two days are ever the same. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, engaging with customers to recommend products, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for all customers
• Engage with customers to recommend spices and products, and assist with purchases
• Clean and maintain the sales floor, production area, and store
• Create gift box assemblies and update store inventory
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout the store and perform daily cleaning tasks

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a food-related industry
• Prior experience in customer service and cash handling is a plus
• Able to lift up to 40lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Familiarity with various types of spices and seasonings is a plus
