Patient Care
  • Average Daily Patients: 35
  • Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:04
  • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
  • Common Patient Diagnoses: Pediatric and adult cases including chest pain, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, lacerations, STEMI, and stroke.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred with a well-rounded skill set.
  • Common Procedures: Procedural sedation, TNK, and standard ER drips.
Staffing and Support
  • ED Staff: 1 MD and 1 APP available 24/7
  • Charge Nurse: Charge RN present 24/7
  • Support Staff: 1 CNA and sitters available as needed
  • Respiratory Therapy: Available 24/7 for the entire hospital
Logistics
  • Shifts: 12-hour shifts, with specific scheduling for travelers
  • Weekend and Holiday Requirements: Yes, based on facility needs
  • Dress Code: Any color scrubs
  • Orientation: 2 days of unit-specific orientation

Note: Candidates must meet the radius rule of 50 miles from the facility.
