Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Janitorial Substitute to join our team at the Jackson Madison County School System. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain assigned buildings and locations
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Remove trash and debris from facilities
  • Assist with moving items within the building as requested
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience in construction, facility maintenance, and/or landscaping
  • Ability to meet the health and physical requirements of the job
  • FBI/TBI Fingerprint/Background Clearance

Working Conditions:
