ABA Therapist Job Description

Virginia ABA is seeking a dedicated and passionate ABA Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will utilize your ABA therapy skills and knowledge to assist clients on the autism spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, enter, and update all data related to clients on caseload.
  • Describe, record, and generate a complete report of clients' behaviors in measurable terms.
  • Create a skill acquisition plan for the client and implement procedures to encourage the student's acquisition of the desired skill.
  • Create a behavior reduction plan and implement interventions and differential reinforcement procedures.
  • Maintain clear lines of communication and professional boundaries.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Speech, Counseling or related human service field preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needs.
