Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the product owner, articulating the vision and functional objectives for all products related to sanitization.
  • Stay informed about the complex threats facing client systems and the nuances of evolving hardware platforms to effectively advance the sanitization capabilities.
  • Monitor and facilitate the resolution of all outstanding program problem reports (PPRs) related to client sanitization products.
  • Maintain awareness of various versions of sanitization products that are scheduled for future release and those currently in operation within the organization.
  • Execute the necessary software engineering tasks to deploy and support testing of client sanitization products.
  • Serve as a Senior Software Developer, providing technical mentorship to members of the associated product/Scrum team.
  • Assist in capability evaluations and technology research concerning sanitization products and their functional specifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, complemented by relevant experience and demonstrated expertise.
  • Over 10 years of proven experience in reverse engineering and analysis of hardware and embedded systems, including device firmware.
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing object-oriented software systems.
  • Intermediate understanding of operating system internals, hardware architectures, and assembly languages.
  • Intermediate knowledge of non-volatile storage media types and data sanitization methodologies.
  • Basic familiarity with Linux operating systems, file systems, and disk analysis tools and commands.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Python, Java, and C++ programming languages.
  • Basic understanding of POSIX shell scripting.
  • Intermediate knowledge of disassemblers, decompilers, and debuggers.
  • Basic understanding of network protocol analysis and reverse engineering.
  • Ability to effectively communicate status updates and identify, assess, and convey risks.
  • Demonstrated capability to work within and lead teams.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for Secret clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering.
  • 15+ years of experience in reverse engineering and analysis of hardware and embedded systems, including firmware.
  • 5+ years of experience in exploiting hardware and embedded systems, including firmware exploitation.
  • Expert knowledge of operating system internals, hardware architectures, and assembly languages.
  • Expertise in Linux operating systems, file systems, and disk analysis tools and commands.
  • Expertise in Python, Java, and C++ development.
  • Expertise in POSIX shell scripting.
  • Expertise in disassemblers, decompilers, and debuggers.
  • Intermediate knowledge of network protocol analysis and reverse engineering.
  • Intermediate knowledge of real-time operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of dynamic instrumentation frameworks.
  • Intermediate knowledge of software protection mechanisms, including anti-debugging and anti-instrumentation techniques.
