Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to identify physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function, including exercises, modalities, and education
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and achieve patient goals
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Stay up-to-date with current best practices and evidence-based research in physical therapy
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or doctorate in physical therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia
  • One year of experience in an inpatient setting, preferably in acute care
  • BLS certification
