The Licensed Electrician position at PCL Construction is responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks including install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. May also install electrical control systems and perform a variety of manual labor functions related to the electrical work. Completes reports necessary for safety, project status, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing conduits including bending, cutting and threading up to 4 inch diameter rigid steel
Installing and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
Replacing conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers as needed.
Installing conductors, terminating (SES, panel boards, motor controls, PLC's, instruments, and junction boxes).
Have the ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings.
Start up and commissioning experience is an asset but not required.
Have a basic understanding of NFPA70E and the NEC.
Requirements:
Electrical License is required.
Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of electrical components and systems.
Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
