Job Position Information

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Renton School District 403.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and achievement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language plans for students
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including assessment, intervention, and consultation
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student learning and achievement
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to share progress and involve them in the educational process
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and research-based interventions

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Washington State certification or national certification through ASHA
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
