Job Overview:

The Learning and Development Specialist plays a vital role in the success of Our Community Credit Union. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training initiatives that enhance the skills and knowledge of new hires and existing staff members.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Training Development and Operations Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with department supervisors and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop customized training programs that meet the requirements of the credit union's operations.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing staff members
Conduct training sessions on policies and procedures, both in-person and remotely
Maintain accurate records of training attendance and completion
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
Collaborate with department supervisors and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop customized training programs

Requirements and Qualifications:

Experience:
Two to five years of experience in training development and delivery or a related field
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school
Interpersonal Skills:
Demonstrated ability to build trust and diplomacy with colleagues, customers, and external partners
Strong communication and presentation skills

Working Conditions:

This role requires regular attendance, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with sensitive information. Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either alone or as part of a team.

Salary:
$65,000 - $75,000 per year

We offer a competitive salary range based on experience and qualifications.
