About the Opportunity

Aureus Medical Group - Nursing is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in New Mexico.

Job Summary

This is a 14-week contract position, requiring 36 hours of work per week, with an 8-hour shift schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting medical professionals during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Ability to lift 50-100 pounds
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
