About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing patient care and administrative support to our medical staff. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with our medical team to deliver exceptional patient care.

**Responsibilities:**
* Perform patient care tasks and procedures as delegated by the medical staff
* Provide administrative support to the medical staff, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
* Develop realistic action plans and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with the medical staff
* Utilize resources effectively and efficiently to achieve quality patient care

**Requirements:**
* High School Diploma required
* Certification/Licensure: CCMA, CMA, RMA, EMT-B, EMT-A, or Paramedic certification required
* No experience required
