Job Summary

The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of guest accounts by balancing departmental income. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the correctness of guest accounts by balancing each department's income
  • Post room and tax, and local phone charges to guest folios
  • Provide exceptional guest service, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues
  • Maintain the daily walk-in reservation count sheet
  • Assign rooms in a courteous and efficient manner to all incoming guests
  • Prepare and have ready by 7 a.m. each day the Housekeeper's Report, listing the status of check-outs, stay-over, vacant, and out-of-order rooms for the night just ended
Requirements
  • Hotel Night Auditor experience preferred
  • Prior Hotel Guest Services Representative strongly preferred
  • Ability to process math calculations
  • Office skills and technology, accounting/bookkeeping preferred
