Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Reimbursement Specialist to join our team in a specified geographic region. As a Field Reimbursement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing defined accounts and supporting our client's products in the ophthalmic therapeutic area.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily activities that support appropriate patient reimbursement to our client's products in provider offices.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints and improve customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum two years' of access and reimbursement, managed care, and/or billing and coding support experience.
- Experience working with Buy and Bill products and a thorough understanding of the entire reimbursement process from script to injection required.
- Ophthalmic, retina specialists and biosimilar experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) policies and processes with expertise in Medicare Part D (Pharmacy Benefit design and coverage policy) a plus.
