The Berks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) is looking for passionate professionals dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and their families in our community. If you are committed to making a difference, we invite you to consider this opportunity.

Position Overview:
The Pediatric Physical Therapist is essential in facilitating children's access to their educational experiences through therapeutic interventions and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children.
  • Assess neuromuscular development, sensory-motor integration, fine and gross motor skills, among other areas.
  • Work collaboratively with educational staff to implement effective Physical Therapy strategies.
  • Generate thorough reports detailing assessment findings and recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Valid PA State Certification/License.
  • Experience with preschool-aged children.
  • Strong knowledge of Early Intervention methodologies.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time role requiring 25 hours per week.

Compensation:
Salary will align with the BCIU Collective Bargaining Agreement.
