**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Member to join our team at Kearny Public Schools. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our schools.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

**Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of school facilities
  • Operate and maintain equipment and machinery as needed
  • Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Assist with special events and projects as required

Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; black seal license preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or custodial work
  • Knowledge of plant operation and maintenance, cleaning methods and procedures, and heating and ventilation systems
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Required background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status
