We are seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to join our team at our International Falls, Minnesota Paper Mill. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and developing strategies to minimize our impact on the environment.

Key priorities may include NPDES and Title V Air Permit Management, Ash Land Application Program, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan, Solid and Hazardous Waste Management, Above Ground Storage (AST) Tank Permit, Accident/Incident Investigations, Environmental Training, Risk Management Plan (RMP) Management, agency reporting and interface, and overall environmental compliance management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct environmental audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead the environmental review process for capital projects.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies on compliance and enforcement issues.
  • Assist in the development of environmental policies and procedures.
