Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant in a rewarding role working with young students in a school district located in Lawrence, KS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for students referred for speech and language needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols.
  • Deliver personalized therapy sessions to students with speech and language disorders, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement customized education plans, communicating effectively with parents, school officials, and other stakeholders involved in student assessments.
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, parents, and administrators to address speech and language challenges, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records for all students on your caseload, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Provide regular progress reports to parents regarding students' development, promoting transparency and open communication.
  • Organize student caseload efficiently, establishing schedules for each designated school and ensuring timely delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement educational materials to support speech and language enhancement, staying current with research and best practices in the field.

Requirements:

  • Active Kansas SLP license, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.
