Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems currently has openings for Aircraft Quality Assurance Inspectors at our Grand Sky facility in Emerado, ND.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting inspections on demonstrator and production aircraft systems, components, and parts to ensure compliance with government and corporate standards and specifications.
Evaluating the installation and functionality of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil, and emergency systems, along with other aircraft components.
Authorizing non-flight-tested aircraft for operation. Inspecting adjustments, repairs, or modifications made to the aircraft.
Overseeing and validating quality in line with statistical process or other control methodologies.
Basic Qualifications:
A high school diploma with a minimum of 6 years of experience in aerospace, focusing on aircraft manufacturing and quality assurance. Alternatively, an associate degree with at least 2 years of experience in aerospace with an emphasis on aircraft manufacturing and quality assurance.
Must demonstrate the ability to perform mechanical measurements, witness tests, process nonconforming materials into the MRB, and verify reworked or repaired products.
Must be available to work 2nd shift.
Must be able to ascend stairs and ladders as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Over 10 years of experience in production, flight testing, and engineering.
A&P license
Exceptional coordination and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly to all levels of management.
Salary Range:
$59,300 - $98,800
The above salary range serves as a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
Furthermore, Northrop Grumman offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plans, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and personal business.
