Medical Care Professional PRN Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a PRN Medical Care Professional. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform various delegated basic patient care services, including taking vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections.
- Manage patient charts, collecting patient history, documenting Electronic Health Records (EHR) appropriately, and conducting regular chart audits.
- Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
- Assist with check-in/check-out procedures, including auditing charts.
- Maintain records and logs on activities, such as in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
- Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
- Ensure occupational client preference cards are followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
- A graduate of an accredited school of practical/vocational nursing.
- A current Practical/Vocational nursing license in the state of residency.
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
- Experience using an EHR system is highly beneficial.
- The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 30 days of start.
- A Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
