Role and Responsibilities

As a Retail Coverage Merchandiser, your primary responsibility will be to enhance product visibility and boost sales within retail environments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular store visits to ensure merchandising standards are upheld.
  • Collaborating with store management on retail strategies, including new product launches and promotional activities.
  • Utilizing technology for data collection and reporting during store visits.
  • Maintaining product displays, ensuring proper stocking, rotation, and pricing of merchandise.
  • Performing audits to verify compliance with established plan-o-grams and reporting findings to management.
  • Engaging with management to meet objectives and relay store-level insights regarding client products and customer preferences.
  • Identifying sales opportunities and advocating for clients through effective shelf management and relationship building with store managers.
  • Executing the retail territory coverage plan to achieve merchandising goals.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between locations.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
