Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Electrophysiology Lab, who is a skilled clinician with extensive experience in patient care and a deep understanding of the specific needs of this patient demographic. This RN will effectively utilize acquired knowledge, theory, research, and experience to adapt to clinical changes. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering safe, reliable, and effective care to patients independently, employing the nursing process
- Applying the Synergy Model for Care to tailor care for each patient and their family
- Communicating with respect and clarity to patients, their families, and healthcare team members
- Accurately documenting the nursing process in the appropriate formats (e.g., electronic records, clinical pathways)
- Incorporating patient and family input into care planning
- Assessing patient responses to care and modifying plans as necessary
- Advocating for patients based on a thorough understanding of their conditions
- Acknowledging cultural differences in developing relationships with patients and families
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess a valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the relevant licensing board. Candidates should be graduates of an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years or have recently completed a re-entry nursing program.
BLS certification is required, and ACLS certification may be necessary in designated areas.
