Key Responsibilities
  • Perform security patrols to ensure the safety and security of the facility and its occupants.
  • Enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized access to the facility.
  • Protect all persons and property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents.
  • Investigate and write reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, and other security-related situations.
  • Assist customers, employees, and visitors in following the department's procedures.
Requirements
  • United States citizen
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least three years of security experience within the last five years
  • California State Security Guard Certification card, California Handgun Permit, Baton card, and firearms qualification permits
