Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Christus Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in critical, non-critical, and chronically ill conditions.
  • Perform various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures, including airway management, ventilator management, and oxygen delivery.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in emergency response situations, including Code Blue and White responses.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • RCP License in the state of employment required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • CRT certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
  • 2-3 years of experience preferred.
