Inova seeks a dedicated Cardiology Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our Mount Vernon location. Our team of board-certified cardiologists offers comprehensive care to help patients achieve heart and vascular wellness.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient education and answer questions pre- and post-surgery
  • Coordinate patient readiness and care throughout the clinic
  • Perform stress testing, including regular, echo, and nuclear tests
  • Help patients manage INR levels
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate care

The Registered Nurse Outpatient will provide safe and therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way in a physician practice or other outpatient setting.

Incorporating differences into the provision of care, the nurse will integrate knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families, including patient and family education.

Data and information will be used to improve care and enhance outcomes, ensuring improvements in practice settings.

Preferred qualifications include greater than one year of RN experience and prior Cardiology Nursing background, such as in IMCU, PCU, Tele, or CVICU.


Requirements:
  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing
  • BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required
