  • Prepare beverage orders for servers according to server tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Mix and serve a variety of cocktails and other beverages, adhering to company standards and recipes.
  • Verify the age of guests purchasing alcohol and notify management of underage drinking guests who appear intoxicated.
  • Ring up drink and food orders, collect payment, and balance receipts, following proper cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure the bar area is fully stocked and equipped with necessary tools and products, reporting any defective items or equipment to management.
  • Offer and serve food items to guests seated at the bar, as requested or appropriate.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions.
  • Perform routine cleaning, setup, and breakdown of the bar, including preparation for efficient and smooth operation.
  • Wash and sterilize glassware, and maintain an attractive display of bottles, glassware, and beverage products.
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning and side work requirements, as assigned by a supervisor.
  • Participate in scheduled catering events, as required.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in bartending, preferably with Japanese cuisine and sake knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of wine, spirits, and sake, with certification in Responsible Alcohol Service.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older, as per state law.
  • High School diploma or GED, preferred.
