Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver exceptional healthcare services within the Orthopedic Surgery department. This role encompasses both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, primarily assisting a specialized hand surgeon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and gather detailed medical histories.
- Order, perform, and interpret various diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Deliver direct treatment and manage a range of health conditions, ensuring thorough documentation.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding preventive care, treatment alternatives, and available community resources.
- Administer preventative health services, including screenings, immunizations, and overall patient care.

Qualifications:
Licensure and Certification:
- Current BLS certification required within one month of hire.
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant by the appropriate medical board.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is mandatory.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.
