Job SummaryAs a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will operate and monitor various types of Cath Lab/IR equipment under the supervision of a Cath Lab/IR/EP physician and/or Clinical Unit Coordinator. You will assist the physician and nursing personnel during Diagnostic & Interventional catheterization procedures and provide various types of patient care in the Cardiovascular Lab under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
You will also be responsible for accepting and performing work assignments or assisting with tasks outside of your regular duties or cross-trained assignment, based on unusual work volume, emergencies, or severe weather conditions.

Recruitment RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) accredited school of Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology. ARRT or CVT/RCIS Certification is preferred, as well as 1 year of Diagnostic Radiology or Interventional Radiology/Catheterization procedure experience. Successful completion of a basic EKG Arrhythmia course or equivalent training & experience is also required. Current BLS certification and ACLS certification are preferred.
You must be able to work various shifts and/or on-call hours when required. Current Pennsylvania AART or CVT/RCIS registration is preferred, as well as CPR and ACLS certifications.
