Overview of Outpatient Services:
Our outpatient programs are designed to address mental health and substance use disorders through treatment groups and community resources. We emphasize trauma-informed care to mitigate the adverse effects of substance use.

Role Summary:
The CCBHC Intake Coordinator II functions as a Substance Use Disorder Clinical Therapist (LPHA) within our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). This role is pivotal in conducting clinical assessments, making diagnoses, and implementing quality measures as mandated by funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical assessments and diagnoses during outpatient intake sessions.
  • Create and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention and assessment as necessary.
  • Engage in clinical consultation throughout the treatment process.
  • Participate in after-hours coverage on a rotational basis.
  • Ensure timely compliance with all clinical documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to data management and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Counseling; must hold a valid registration with the BBS.
  • Preferred candidates will possess an active LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license.

Desirable Experience:

  • At least two years of experience in DMH or SAPC services, particularly with clients facing co-occurring disorders.
  • Experience in managing clients undergoing acute withdrawal.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
  • Proficiency in delivering evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Background Requirements:

  • Must pass CDCR fingerprint clearance.
  • Applicants should not be on parole or probation for a minimum of two years.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of issues related to substance abuse and mental health.
  • Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Bilingual capabilities may be required for certain positions.
