We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Part Time Infant/Toddler Closing Teacher to join our team at Primrose School of West Knoxville. As a Support Teacher, you will work closely with our experienced teachers to plan and implement activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Help plan and implement activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child.
  • Implement approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
  • Supervise and manage a group of children in a safe and engaging environment.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred.
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
