Job Summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician Trainee to join our team. As a Diesel Technician Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting experienced technicians in performing maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations
- Learn and apply new skills and knowledge to improve technical abilities
- Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

- Must be mechanically inclined and have no professional experience
- Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters
- Ability to work in various temperatures and adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
