Pavement Superintendent Job Description

GPAC is seeking a highly skilled Pavement Superintendent to lead our milling and paving operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize work to optimize crew productivity and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Communicate performance expectations to crews and ensure schedule and financial goals are met.
  • Supervise field managers and mentor them to ensure efficient use of manpower and equipment.
  • Review job costs with project managers and implement adjustments as necessary.
  • Inspect construction work to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of milling and paving experience with at least 2 years of superintendent experience.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required.
