Job Title: Lead Infant Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and leading a model classroom that fosters independence and develops competent, capable, action-oriented thinkers and change agents.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with the Montessori method and meets the needs of our students.
  • Lead a team of educators in the Infant classroom, providing guidance and support to ensure a high-quality learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote student success and well-being.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood education and the Montessori method.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements:
  • Montessori certification for the 0-3 age group.
  • Experience working with the appropriate ages in a group setting, such as a preschool, daycare, childcare, nursery, VPK, or Kindergarten class.
  • Ability to create a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes independence and self-directed learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
  • Passion for the Montessori method and commitment to ongoing professional development.
