Job Summary
The Sleep Rate Direct Support Professional provides assistance to individuals in daily activities, including health and personal management, achieving personal goals, recreation, and daily household living. This role involves maintaining a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of program individuals while improving functioning and minimizing interfering behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals in daily activities such as health and personal management, achieving personal goals, recreation, and daily household living.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment.
- Improve functioning and minimize interfering behaviors.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of related experience or an Associate's Degree with 1 year of related experience.
- Valid NY Driver's License.
- Flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
- A strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary of $17.50 per hour during sleep hours and $22.00 - $25.50 per hour when in ratio (commensurate with education and experience). Additionally, we offer paid orientation, access to the Savi Student Loan Checkup tool, and a rewarding experience helping individuals achieve their goals.
