LifeBridge Health is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead our Emergency Department and Observation Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing all activities of the Emergency Department, Clinical Decision Unit/Observation, and Vascular Services at Carroll Hospital Center.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care, quality, and safety in the Emergency Department and Observation Services.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with medical staff, other departments, and external partners to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Performance Improvement: Analyze data and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes, reduce length of stay, and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Staff Development and Engagement: Mentor and coach staff to enhance leadership skills, critical thinking abilities, and professional growth.
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in emergency department leadership, with a focus on operations, quality, and patient safety.
- Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) License, American Heart Association CPR BLS, and certifications in emergency nursing (CEN, ENCP, TNCC) preferred.
