Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). This role offers full-time night shifts and part-time opportunities, with competitive compensation ranging from $25 to $35.86 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Incentives:

New full-time employees are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

As an EMT, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing emergency medical services in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Engaging in both basic and advanced life support procedures during emergency responses.
  • Ensuring the medic unit is fully stocked, sanitized, and operational at the start and end of each shift.
  • Conducting patient assessments and communicating findings to emergency department staff.
  • Documenting medical reports and billing information for each call.
  • Participating in ongoing training to maintain certification and enhance skills.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of vehicles and workstations.
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assisting with routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A valid Paramedic license issued by the state.
  • A current BLS CPR certification.
  • Additional certifications such as PHTLS, EPC, PALS, or PEPP.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency care protocols and local traffic regulations.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:

This role requires physical stamina, including:

  • Standing, walking, and lifting heavy equipment (up to 150 lbs with assistance).
  • Climbing stairs and navigating various terrains.
  • Maintaining focus and attention to detail in dynamic environments.
