Juvenile Supervision Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Juvenile Supervision Officer to join our team at the 36th Judicial District Juvenile Probation. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing supervision and support to juveniles in our care, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive behavior and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct supervision and support to juveniles in our care, including monitoring their behavior and providing guidance and counseling as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs and challenges of each juvenile.
- Collaborate with other staff members and community partners to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to juvenile rehabilitation.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor juvenile progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Texas driver's license.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of college credit in Criminal Justice, social work, or a related field, or 1 year of experience working with emotionally disturbed or violent children.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug testing.
- Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive salary: $3,135.82 per month.
