Position Overview

Job Responsibilities:


We are currently in search of a dynamic, highly skilled, and dedicated Permanent Ultrasound Technician to join our innovative medical team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality ultrasound services to our patients, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Ultrasound Technician, your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Providing clear and accurate documentation of findings for review by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintaining and operating ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety at all times.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of new protocols and procedures to enhance the quality and efficiency of our ultrasound services.
  • Participating in quality assurance activities and contributing to the continuous improvement of our ultrasound services.
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, patient-centered care.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families, helping them to understand the ultrasound process and any associated findings.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician, Sonographer, or Ultrasonographer.
  • Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
  • Excellent technical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A patient-centered approach, with a commitment to providing compassionate, respectful care.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning, with a willingness to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of ultrasound technology.
