Pelvic Health Physical Therapist Needed

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in a per diem capacity at our Spaulding Outpatient location in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist, you will provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. You will work collaboratively with other members of the interdisciplinary team to educate patients, families, and others, and to direct and supervise support personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect understanding of patients' age and situation, including discharge plans.
  • Revised treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
  • Complete and timely documentation in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
  • Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
  • Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities to implement best practices.
  • Complete additional department, organization, or network activities per established objectives.
  • Uphold Mass General Brigham's Organizational Values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
  • Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
  • Effective problem-solving skills for physical therapy evaluation, interpretation, treatment planning, and execution.
  • Computer proficiency required, with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
