At the University of Miami, we are seeking part-time lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in anthropology. As an adjunct professor, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and contribute to the growth and development of our students.

About the Role

This is a part-time faculty position with a maximum of two courses per semester. To be eligible, you must hold a Ph.D. or Master's degree in anthropology or a related field by the time of appointment. A minimum of one year's experience in college teaching is preferred.

The duties of this role include teaching undergraduate courses in anthropology and participating in departmental activities. An appointment/offer is contingent upon student demand and available funding. The possibility exists that final confirmation may not be available until classes begin.

We offer a competitive salary for this part-time position. Based on national averages for part-time faculty positions, we estimate the annual salary to be around $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on course load and qualifications.
