Rigger Specialist

Audubon Companies is seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team. As a Rigger, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient lifting and setting of loads and equipment.

• Load Management: Ensure that all loads and equipment are lifted and set properly, taking into account factors such as weight, size, and balance.
• Equipment Setup: Set up and break down necessary equipment, including cranes, hoists, and rigging gear.
• Safety: Maintain a safe and incident-free work environment by adhering to all safety rules and regulations, and reporting any safety concerns or issues to management immediately.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain all rigging equipment to ensure it is in good working order.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Must be NCCCO Level 1 certified.
• Experience: Significant work experience as a rigger, 2+ years.
• Skills: Solid working knowledge of all rigging equipment, ability to assess each load and select proper equipment for the job, and experience with crane assembly and disassembly.
