About the Role:
As an MRI Technologist, you will be an integral part of our imaging team, dedicated to delivering high-quality magnetic resonance imaging services to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Exhibiting comprehensive knowledge of MRI technology and ensuring the acquisition of optimal images for interpretation.
- Facilitating MRI procedures by selecting appropriate technical factors and preparing patients with the necessary contrast materials.
- Documenting all relevant clinical information and obtaining informed consent prior to examinations.
- Maintaining effective communication with patients and colleagues, including radiologists, to ensure optimal care.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment to prevent contamination.
- Accepting on-call responsibilities as required to maintain patient care standards.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A degree from a 2-year AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- 1-3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Active licensure from the State of Florida Department of Health (CRT).
- Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
This position requires full vaccination for COVID-19 in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
