We are searching for a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at the Danville Regional Medical Center's Oncology Center in Danville, VA.
This position comes with a competitive starting salary of $35.00/hour, with the possibility of adjustments based on experience, and a commitment of 20 hours per week.
As a valued member of our team, you will have opportunities to collaborate in inpatient settings.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition plans for patients, taking into account their specific needs and health status.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to address nutritional concerns and provide guidance on healthy eating habits.
- Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, nutrition plans, and interventions.
- Foster strong relationships with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Your Qualifications:
- Current Registered Dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and required state licensure.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field.
- Understanding of regulatory standards in nutrition.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
