Overview of the Full-Charge Bookkeeper Role

The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for processing accounts payable, including 30-50 invoices weekly, and accounts receivable, including billing and sending paper and virtual invoices. The successful candidate will also answer client phone calls, research and resolve routine account inquiries and discrepancies, process payroll for 30 employees, and prepare quarterly and annual state tax and sales tax reports.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 2+ years of experience in a Bookkeeping or Accounting role. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Answer client phone calls and resolve account inquiries
  • Process payroll for 30 employees
  • Prepare quarterly and annual state tax and sales tax reports
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a Bookkeeping or Accounting role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
