Manufacturing Assembler and Laborer

Job Overview:

Morgan Truck Body LLC, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies in North America, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Assembler and Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and assembling various truck body components, ensuring high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

About the Role:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, utilizing your skills and experience to contribute to the production of quality truck bodies. You will work closely with our production team to ensure efficient assembly processes, meeting production targets while maintaining high product standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and build truck body components, adhering to blueprints and specifications.
• Operate various tools and equipment, including saws, sheers, and pneumatic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machines and equipment.
• Inspect finished projects for quality and defects.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and improve workflows.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• At least 18 years old.
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret blueprints.
• Experience working with hand and power tools.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in manufacturing or construction is desirable, but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent GED is also preferred.

Work Environment:

You will work in a manufacturing plant environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Prolonged standing, walking, and lifting are expected, as well as repetitive tasks using hands.
