Quality Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team at Dontech, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-end optics, filters, and displays for the military and medical markets.

• Conduct thorough visual inspections of materials, parts, and finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Use various product quality specifications to determine the quality of products.
• Inspect parts and materials for flaws and dimensions of critical characteristics.
• Support the production process by inspecting products prior to shipping.
• Complete manufacturing tasks in compliance with work instructions.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
• Review specifications for additional information to prepare products for customers.
• Inspect first completed pieces (first articles) and finished jobs submitted to Quality.

• High School/Technical School/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in quality and/or inspection, ideally with optics or optical components.
• Prefer experience with MIL-PRF-13830 inspection.
• Military and medical electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Comfortable working in a clean room environment.
• Proper handling of various chemicals for cleaning of parts.
• High attention to detail is critical.
• Ability to read and accurately comprehend work orders and procedures.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and follow through on tasks to completion.
• Reliable, on-site attendance.
• Willing to learn and be cross-trained.
• Ability to be flexible in daily duties.
• Proficiency in communication skills (verbal and written).
