Consumer Loan Processor

At Solvay Bank, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing a supportive work environment for our employees. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Consumer Loan Processor to join our Loan Administration Department.

The Consumer Loan Processor will be responsible for performing a variety of loan processing, administrative, and clerical functions related to direct and indirect consumer lending. This includes quality control and verification of loan documentation, merging data from processing systems, loan documentation preparation, coordinating loan closings, and various reporting functions.

• Provide assistance to the Direct & Indirect Lending Team, including updating loan data, assembling documentation for indirect consumer loans, and preparing loan documentation for direct consumer loans.
• Ensure that loan files contain documents with proper signature, dates, and other required information.
• Verify loan files for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain existing and new customer files, review closed loan documents for proper terms, conditions, and signatures, and upload executed documents to Director.
• Ensure bank's liens are properly recorded on vehicle titles.
• Respond timely to customer and branch personnel inquiries concerning loan processing and information via phone, email, and in person.
• Contribute to a strong teamwork atmosphere when conducting internal business regarding customer accounts.
• Adhere to bank and department policies and procedures, complete all required training.
• Process direct consumer credit card applications upon approval.
• Provide back-up support for other Loan Administration team members as availability permits.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 13 years banking or related experience preferred.
• Some consumer lending experience preferred but not required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, proficiency in Excel reporting.
• Good understanding and interest in the Bank's products and services offered.
• Strong analytical skills.
