About the Role

Fidelity TalentSource LLC is seeking a skilled Rust Developer to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions in highly scalable environments using Rust as a programming language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Software Solutions
  • Collaborate with Quantitative Strategies Team
  • Work with Trading Team to Develop and Maintain Platform Services
  • Participate in Agile Development Processes
  • Guide Junior Engineers and Develop Technical Skills
  • Collaborate with Technical Lead and Architects

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Related Field
  • 3+ Years of Technology Experience in Scalable Environments
  • Experience in High-Volume, Low Latency Real-Time Messaging
  • Comprehensive Experience in Software Engineering in Agile Environment
  • Ability to Clarify User Requirements and Define Accurate Use Cases
  • Proven Hands-On Development Skills with Technology Leadership
  • Ability to Translate Business Needs into Technology Solutions

Desirable Skills:

  • 5+ Years of IT Experience as a Developer
  • Excellent Proficiency in Linux Operating Systems, Shell Scripting, Multi-Processing, and Parallel Computing
  • Experience and Expertise in Profiling and Performance Tuning Software
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Design Patterns and Ability to Drive Mature Delivery Practices through Automation
  • Ability to Apply Agile Methodologies or Iterative Development Processes
  • Proficient with CI & CD Tools, Version Control Systems
  • Expertise Dealing with Big-Data Technologies such as Snowflake or Similar
  • Familiarity with Event-Driven and Service-Oriented Processing
  • Experience with Digital Assets and EVM
  • Eagerness to Learn and Demonstrate Versatility in Addition to Your Specialization
  • Excellent Analytical, Communication, and Organizational Skills
