About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our Airborne Systems team in Bloomington. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and oversight to a team of 30 Electrical Engineers. Your expertise will be crucial in developing hardware designs for Airborne System programs and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Electrical Engineers in the development of hardware designs for Airborne System programs
  • Provide technical direction and oversight to ensure project success
  • Collaborate with other Engineering Managers and business leaders to drive business growth and success
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and capabilities
  • Ensure department operational objectives are met and exceeded
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science or Technology degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on airborne systems
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in managing large, complex projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
