Job Title: PT Sales Associate Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time Sales Associate Cashier to join our team at Food Lion. As a Sales Associate Cashier, you will be responsible for providing fast, easy, flexible, and friendly service to our customers through the achievement of Food Lion customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate cash control.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the front end and sales floor.
  • Work collaboratively with other associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
