Overview
The primary responsibilities of this role at Oregon Health & Science University involve engaging in General Surgery, encompassing a wide range of surgical procedures such as endoscopy, cholecystectomy, breast biopsy, mastectomies, and the excision of lipomas. The position also allows for involvement in complex foregut surgeries as opportunities arise. There are prospects for local leadership roles within the medical group and participation in various committees. The selected candidate will be required to participate in a call rotation of 1:4 as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
This position necessitates a strong dedication to patient care, academic research, and the education of future medical professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) is preferred.
